ASTON ON CLUN VILLAGE HALL
What's on Soon?
(also see Flicks and Live Theatre Pages)
The Hall management are currently considering whether to put on a showing of films in the Autumn of 2021. The choices available have been impacted by the pandemic and we remain cautious about what kind of audience size would be prudent.
As of Sunday morning the Met Office weather forecast for Sunday has improved with some rain forecast around noon but drying up after that. We have a large marquee out on the Green and other people have provided gazebos (for which are are most grateful). It will probably be windy so an extra layer might be appropriate.
If it does continue to be wet there will be seats in the Hall with tables and seating outside (possibly without tables to maximise space). The Hall will provide napkins, wooden cutlery, and paper plates
The hog roast itself will probably be in the open on the rear patio so a light raincoat would be a sensible precaution.
If you think you might want to take your food as a takeaway then please bring something with you to carry it (you will still be given the paper plate etc.)
Also, the Parish Council have been advised that the road works are cancelled due to weather conditions (not because we objected!!)
DO NOT FORGET TO BRING A MASK AS YOU WILL NEED IT TO USE THE TOILETS!
